IEMA is dedicated to ensuring the safety of all-electric marine solutions. We will work collaboratively to establish and promote safety standards and best practices among all the associations and their territories. These will include safety protocols for electric propulsion systems, energy storage, charging infrastructure, and all related technologies.
IEMA will facilitate and encourage the exchange of insights, best practices, and technological advancements among member associations; implement and make educational programs and awareness campaigns available; and pool resources for collaborative research projects to drive innovation in electric marine technologies.
IEMA will collaborate on projects related to the development of electric charging infrastructure, energy storage facilities, and other necessary infrastructure for the electrification of ports and marinas.
